Calvin Saker

Calvin graduated from the University of Leeds in 1999 with a 2:1 LLB (Hons) degree. He qualified as a Solicitor in 2004 and has practised predominantly Criminal Law, mainly in the Norfolk and Suffolk area, ever since.

Calvin is a Duty Solicitor, permitting him to work not only for the firms existing clients but for others who require the services of a Criminal Solicitor, across a broad spectrum of matters. He has represented clients in Police Stations and Criminal Courts for matters ranging from non-payment of Council Tax, motoring offences, and ASBO proceedings, to murder. In addition to conducting procedural hearings and trials in the adult Courts, he specialises in Youth Court matters.

Before qualifying as a Solicitor Calvin was a Paralegal for Customs and Excise and the Health and Safety Executive, where he was the sole law clerk in their Prosecution over the Ladbroke Grove train crash. Such experience in defending and prosecuting has given him a more rounded overview of the whole Criminal Justice System and how to successfully deal with the players and tactics of the other side.
